BEHIND THE FABRIC

TENCEL™ Modal

When we launched RE ONA, one of our biggest personal pain points was having to replace our basic staple pieces too frequently.

Our Buttersculpt Signature Collection is made from TENCEL™ Modal, providing long-lasting quality, softness, and durability.

At RE ONA, we are dedicated to offering the best quality to ensure that your clothes last wear after wear.

Our Buttersculpt collection are hand-made using a special double layered technique. This means we sew two layers of heavy-mid weight fabric together, resulting in a supportive, compression-like and seamless finish.

Good to know

Long lasting softness

Exhibiting high flexibility, TENCEL™ Modal wood based fibres offer textiles a long-lasting quality of exquisite softness. Owing to the fibres sleek cross section, TENCEL™ Modal fibres enhance the soft touch of fabrics even after repeated washing.

Measurements and hand evaluations of softness show that TENCEL™ Modal fibres feel twice as soft as cotton.

The softness of TENCEL™ Modal fibres last longer and is able to withstand repeated wash and dry cycles compared to cotton.

Botanic origin

TENCEL™ Modal fibres are mainly manufactured from the renewable raw material beech wood, sourced from sustainable forests in Austria and neighbouring countries.

Biodegradable and compostable

TENCEL™ standard Modal fibres are biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil, freshwater and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature.
